Ca. 50% van de bedrijven in Nederland heeft géén RI&E. Van deze groep weet 70% niet van de verplichting of vindt
het te ingewikkeld.

In een Risico-Inventarisatie en -Evaluatie (RI&E) wordt vast gelegd welke gezondheids- en veiligheidsrisico’s de werkzaamheden in uw bedrijf met zich meebrengen. Vervolgens worden deze risico’s geëvalueerd en de afweging gemaakt over een plan van aanpak nodig is. Zo heeft u in kaart hoeveel en welke medewerkers of functies er bloot worden gesteld aan een risico en hoe lang.

Volgens de Arbowet moet ieder bedrijf een schriftelijke RI&E en een daarop gebaseerd plan van aanpak (PvA) maken. Dus ook als u maar weinig werknemers in dienst heeft. De Nederlandse Arbeidsinspectie controleert of u een RI&E en PvA heeft en of deze volledig zijn. Zijn de RI&E of het PvA onvolledig, omdat bijvoorbeeld niet alle risico’s of maatregelen hierin opgenomen zijn? Dan kan de Inspectie hierop handhaven. Ontbreken de RI&E of het Plan van Aanpak voor uw bedrijf? Dan kan de Inspectie direct een boete opleggen.

De RI&E is voor bedrijven dus niet alleen een administratieve (juridische) verplichting, maar ook een middel om de eerste stappen te zetten in het borgen van ‘gezond en veilig’ werken op de werkvloer.

Vraagt u zich af waar te beginnen met RI&E of heeft u simpelweg niet de tijd of capaciteit voor het maken van een gedegen RI&E? Neem dan geheel vrijblijvend contact op voor een oriënterend gesprek om te kijken waar RNMS u kan ontzorgen of ondersteunen.
